All route prices →How do you get from Izmir Airport to Mordogan?
From Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport to Mordogan we have a drive of about 95 km, which on most days takes 1.5–2 hours. After the airport we take the ring road that curves round the west of the city, move on to the Cesme motorway and head west as far as Urla. At Urla we leave the motorway, turn north and pass through Balikliova to reach the eastern shore of the Karaburun peninsula.
The last part of the drive runs along the sea. The road bends here and there, but the really winding stretch of the road to Karaburun only begins after Mordogan, so you arrive before reaching it.
As the drive takes around an hour and a half, people travelling with older passengers or small children sometimes like a short break around Urla. If you mention it in your message, we add the break to the plan and let you know the arrival time accordingly.
Where do people stay in Mordogan?
Mordogan is a seaside town in the Karaburun district. Its centre is the waterfront around the pier, lined with fish restaurants and cafés, and most of the small hotels and guesthouses are close by. In the evening, this is where most of the life is.
One of Mordogan’s best-known beaches is Ardic bay, which gets busy in summer, especially at weekends, thanks to its clear water. Holiday homes and estates spread along the coast on both sides of the town, some set back from the main road among olive groves. Most people who come to Mordogan are families spending the summer here, and many settle into their holiday home for a long stay.
Because the estates look alike, please send us the estate name, the house number if there is one, and a map pin. We find the entrance before we set off and drop you in front of your house.
Mordogan and Karaburun: what is the difference?
One of the questions guests ask most often is about the address. Mordogan officially belongs to the Karaburun district, so in listings and addresses your holiday home may appear as “Karaburun”. Karaburun town and the villages at the tip of the peninsula, however, lie beyond Mordogan, at the end of a more winding road. Balikliova, on the way, belongs to Urla. If you are staying in Urla itself, our Urla route is separate; if you are in Balikliova or in a cove outside Mordogan, send us your address and we will tell you the fare for that location in advance.
How much is a transfer from Izmir Airport to Mordogan?

A large family arriving with suitcases and children to spend the whole summer at their holiday home pays the same as a couple coming for the weekend; the price does not rise with the number of passengers. For families and groups of more than seven, we plan a second vehicle together via WhatsApp. The car that meets you at the airport takes you to your door in Mordogan without stopping anywhere else, unless you ask it to.

Returning from Mordogan to Izmir Airport
When you leave your holiday home at the end of the summer, we pick you up at your front door or at the estate entrance. At hotels around the pier we meet in front of the hotel.
