How do you get from Izmir Airport to Davutlar?

From Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport to Davutlar it is about 88 km, a drive that usually takes 1–1.5 hours. We follow the Izmir–Aydin motorway past Torbali, leave it near Selcuk and drop down to the coast along the edge of Kusadasi. Leaving Kusadasi, we turn towards Soke and follow the shore south to Davutlar.

On the last stretch, after Kusadasi, the scenery changes: a long beach and summer houses on one side, the green hills of the Dilek Peninsula on the other.

Where do people stay in Davutlar?

Davutlar is a small resort between the sea and the Dilek Peninsula hills, with two quite different sides. The village centre sits a little inland at the foot of the hills, with the market, shops and a few small hotels and guesthouses. Its thermal hotels draw people who want a spa stay and a beach holiday in one place.

Most visitors stay in the estates and apartments along the long beach, largely summer homes where families spend the season. The beach side is lively all summer; the centre stays quieter.

Many estate gates stand side by side on the same beach road, so the estate name alone is sometimes not enough. Send us the name, the gate number if there is one, and your location; we check the spot beforehand and stop at the right gate.

Families who want somewhere quiet but within reach of the Kusadasi bazaar, the coves of the Dilek Peninsula National Park and Ephesus for day trips often choose Davutlar.

The difference between Davutlar, Kusadasi and Guzelcamli

These names are often mixed up. All three belong to Kusadasi, so many Davutlar addresses just say “Kusadasi”, and it is not always clear at first which fare applies.

Central Kusadasi, with Kaleici, the marina and the cruise port, is the busy heart of the district. Davutlar is calmer, centred on the beach and summer homes. Guzelcamli is the next village along the coast, closest to the entrance of the Dilek Peninsula–Buyuk Menderes Delta National Park.

Road distance and fare differ for each. If your address only says “Kusadasi”, a location link shows where you are. An estate listed as “Davutlar” is sometimes very close to Guzelcamli, since the two villages merge along the coast road; we check the location and tell you the right route and fare.

How much is a transfer from Izmir Airport to Davutlar?

Our Izmir Airport to Davutlar transfer fare is €60 / ₺3.250 per vehicle, one way. Most people coming here are families heading to their summer home with suitcases, children and sometimes grandparents. As we price by vehicle, not by person, a larger group does not change the fare. The vehicle is reserved for you and your companions, with no other passengers on the way. The Mercedes Vito seats up to seven, and child seats are free.

For families of eight or more, we arrange a second vehicle over WhatsApp, and both vehicles set off at the same time.

If you book both directions, we add the two one-way fares together. There is no prepayment; you pay in cash once the ride is over. If your flight is delayed, we wait at the airport free of charge.

From Davutlar back to Izmir Airport

On the way back, we usually pick you up at your estate gate or hotel entrance. The location we checked on the way out makes this easy: we meet at the same gate.

The return joins the motorway via Kusadasi and Selcuk, and we agree the pickup time with you based on your flight and the drive. Closing up a summer house makes for a busy day, so many families fix this time a few days ahead; returns also pick up at the end of summer, so telling us your date early makes planning easier.
