All route prices →How do you get from Izmir Airport to Dikili?
From Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport to Dikili it is about 125 km, a drive of 1.5–2 hours on most days. Leaving the airport, we follow the main road from the north of Izmir to Menemen and on to Aliaga. We pass Aliaga’s port and industrial area, then the turn-off for Candarli, and a little later we leave the main road and head west, down to the coast.
Dikili is the northernmost coastal district of Izmir province; Balikesir province begins just beyond it. Once we reach the coast, on a clear day you can see the Greek island of Lesbos across the water.
Some of our passengers like a short break after Aliaga. If you have children or older travellers with you, tell us beforehand and we add the stop to the plan and give you your arrival time accordingly.
Where do people stay in Dikili?
Dikili is spread out along the coast, so the part your address is in shapes the last stretch of the drive.
Dikili town is a small harbour town where most of the hotels and guesthouses are. Cafes and fish restaurants line the seafront, and the promenade is lively in the evenings.
Bademli is a village in the Dikili district known for its quiet bays. Some roads inside the village are narrow, so sharing the location of the house makes the last part easier.
Most summer homes are in holiday estates outside the town. When you give us the estate name and where its gate is, our driver heads straight to the estate entrance.
Whether it is a hotel, a guesthouse or a holiday home, we check the address you send on the map before the trip and drop you at exactly that spot.
Dikili or Candarli?
Here the district name and the town name overlap.
Candarli is also part of the Dikili district, so some estate and hotel addresses say “Dikili” even though the place is actually in Candarli. Candarli lies south of Dikili town, closer to Izmir, and has its own transfer fare.
Bergama, known for the ruins of ancient Pergamon, lies inland to the east of Dikili. To the north, Ayvalik begins. If you are staying in one of these places, send us the location and we tell you the fare in advance.
How much is a transfer from Izmir Airport to Dikili?
Our transfer fare from Izmir Airport to Dikili is €100 / ₺5.500 per vehicle, one way. The price does not rise with the number of people in the car: a big family heading to its summer home pays the same as someone travelling alone. The Mercedes Vito takes up to seven passengers; if your group is eight or more, message us on WhatsApp and we arrange a second vehicle.
For a return trip we add the two one-way fares together. You pay in cash at your address in Dikili when the ride is over; we do not ask for prepayment. We track your flight and do not charge for waiting, so a late plane costs you nothing extra, and child seats are free too. The vehicle is yours alone for the whole drive, and we do not pick up other passengers on the way.
Getting back from Dikili to Izmir Airport
For the return, we pick you up outside your hotel in Dikili town, at the door of your house in Bademli or at the entrance of your estate. If you would like to be collected somewhere other than where we dropped you, a friend’s house for example, we can plan that as well.
The pickup time is something we decide together, working back from your flight. If your hotel checkout is much earlier than your flight, a stop somewhere along the way is possible; just mention it when booking. You can book the return together with the outward trip, and the same details cover both directions. On the way back we follow the same road as on arrival, through Aliaga and Menemen, to the terminal.
