From Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport to Ciftlikkoy in Cesme we have a drive of about 100 km, which takes 1–1.5 hours on most days. Leaving the airport, we join the Izmir–Cesme motorway via the ring road and head past Urla all the way to the tip of the peninsula. Once we reach Cesme, we turn south this time and drop down to Ciftlikkoy. On this last stretch towards the Altinkum and Pirlanta beaches, holiday estates and villas line the road.
If you are travelling with elderly relatives or a baby, we can take a short break on the motorway. Let us know in advance and we work out your arrival time with the break included.
Where do people stay in Ciftlikkoy?
Ciftlikkoy is a neighbourhood south of Cesme town with many holiday estates and villas. Most stays fall into three kinds: holiday homes on gated estates, detached villas and hotels close to the Altinkum and Pirlanta beaches. Altinkum, with its fine sand and clear water, is one of the best-known beaches in the area. Families coming for several weeks in summer usually choose a holiday home on one of the estates.
Roads inside the estates can look alike, and some estates have more than one gate. When you send us your address and the location of the gate you use, we check it on the map. If cars are allowed into the estate, we drop you outside your house; if not, at the right gate.

Which Altinkum, which Ciftlikkoy?
Both names can cause some confusion here.
The name Altinkum is used for more than one place in Turkey. Altinkum in Cesme means the beaches on the Ciftlikkoy side, while Altinkum in the Didim district of Aydin is a completely different resort. If you are staying in Didim, the Didim route has the fare and journey time for that area.
Ciftlikkoy is not unique either: Ciftlikkoy in Yalova is a district on the Sea of Marmara and has nothing to do with this page. If your hotel or holiday-home address says “Cesme”, you are on the right page.
How much is a transfer from Izmir Airport to Ciftlikkoy?
Our Izmir Airport to Ciftlikkoy transfer fare is €65 / ₺3.500 per vehicle, one way. The fare does not change with the number of passengers: a big family arriving with beach bags and suitcases pays the same as two people travelling together. Our Mercedes Vito takes up to 7 people; for larger groups, just message us on WhatsApp and we arrange an extra vehicle together.
If you plan the outward and return trips together, we add the two one-way fares. There is no prepayment; you pay in cash once the ride is over. Child seats are free; just write in your booking how many you need. The vehicle is reserved for you, and we do not pick up other passengers on the way.
Return from Ciftlikkoy to Izmir Airport
For the way back we pick you up at the estate gate, outside your villa or at the entrance of your hotel near the beach. On estates with a security gate, meeting at the same gate we used on arrival keeps things simple.
We agree the pickup time with you based on when you leave the house or hotel and on your flight. If you have something to do before leaving the holiday home, such as handing over the keys, let us know so we can allow for it. You can book both directions in one go before your holiday.
