From Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport to Pasalimani in Cesme we have a drive of about 95 km, which takes 1–1.5 hours on most days. Leaving the airport, we take the Izmir ring road onto the Izmir–Cesme motorway and leave Urla behind. After the motorway we head for the north coast of the peninsula and drive down to the bay between Ilica and Ildir. As we near the shore, holiday homes looking out to sea appear one by one.
Some of our guests like to arrive at their holiday home with the shopping already done. If you would like a short stop at a supermarket on the way, mention it in your booking and we give you an arrival time that allows for it.
Where do people stay in Pasalimani?
Pasalimani is a quiet bay on the north coast of the Cesme peninsula, between Ilica and Ildir. Instead of large hotels, you find holiday estates and detached summer houses spread around the bay. Families who want to spend a long summer in a house near the sea, away from the bustle of the town centres, tend to choose Pasalimani.
Some estates have a security gate, and the roads inside can look very much alike. When you share the estate name, the location of the entrance gate and where the house is inside the estate, we check it all on the map. If cars can enter the estate, we drop you outside your house; letting security know we are coming saves time at the gate.

Pasalimani in Cesme and Pasalimani island in the Sea of Marmara
The shared name can be confusing here.
There is also an island called Pasalimani in the Sea of Marmara. That island belongs to the Erdek district of Balikesir, is one of the Marmara Islands, and getting there is a completely different journey.
This page is for Pasalimani bay on the north coast of Cesme. If your holiday-home address says “Cesme”, the fare on this page applies to you; we run this transfer to the bay in Cesme only.
How much is a transfer from Izmir Airport to Pasalimani?
Our Izmir Airport Pasalimani transfer costs €65 / ₺3.500 per vehicle, one way. The fare does not depend on the number of passengers: three generations of a family heading to their holiday home pay the same as two people. The vehicle is reserved for you and your family alone. Our Mercedes Vito is enough for up to seven people; if there are more of you, message us on WhatsApp and we plan a second vehicle together.
When you book the outward and return trips together, the two one-way fares are added up. We do not take payment in advance; you pay in cash when you reach the bay. Return from Pasalimani to Izmir Airport
For the way back we pick you up outside your house or at the estate gate. On estates with a security gate, telling the guard your departure time helps the vehicle get in without waiting at the gate.
We agree the pickup time with you based on when you hand back the holiday home and on your flight. At the end of summer, when the holiday homes empty out, the motorway towards Izmir can get busy, and we take that into account when we settle the time. You can book both directions before your holiday or message us once your return date is fixed.
