All route prices →How do you get from Izmir Airport to Aydin?
From Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport to Aydin city centre it is about 95 km, a drive that usually takes 1–1.5 hours. Almost the whole way is on the Izmir–Aydin motorway. Leaving the airport, we join the motorway, pass Torbali and head south towards Selcuk. After Germencik we turn east into the Buyuk Menderes plain and follow it to Aydin.
With no city traffic on the way, we can usually estimate the arrival time quite reliably. Once we enter the plain, fig orchards and olive groves begin on both sides of the road; that is how we know Aydin is close.
It is not a short drive. If you are travelling with small children or an elderly relative, we can make a short stop on the way; just write it in your booking and we will include it when we give you your arrival time.
Where do people stay in Aydin?
Aydin’s city centre is the Efeler district. Most of the hotels, hospitals, government offices and businesses are here, and the campus of Aydin Adnan Menderes University is in the city too. Most people who come to Aydin come for a meeting, a hospital appointment or something to do with the university; holidaymakers usually carry on to the coast.
When you send us the name of your hotel, the workplace you are going to or the building on campus, we check the location in advance. At large institutions and hospitals, if you tell us which gate we should go to, we drop you right at that entrance.
This fare is for Aydin city centre. If you are going to an address in a district such as Incirliova, Germencik, Nazilli or Soke, write to us; we will check the location and let you know the fare for that address beforehand.
Aydin province or Aydin city?
Few names get mixed up in addresses as often as Aydin. It is the name both of a province and of the city at its centre. Kusadasi and Didim also belong to Aydin province, which is why many beach hotels have “Aydin” in their address. But these coastal districts lie in different directions from the city centre, and each has its own route: Kusadasi and Didim. If your hotel address only says “Aydin”, send it to us; we will check which district it is in and tell you the right route and price.
If you are continuing east along the same plain as far as Denizli, there is a separate Denizli route for that drive.
How much is a transfer from Izmir Airport to Aydin?
Our Aydin transfer fare is €60 / ₺3.250 per vehicle, one way. The fare does not change with the number of passengers: someone travelling alone to a meeting and a student moving into university with their family and suitcases pay the same. The vehicle is reserved for you, and we do not pick up anyone else on the way.
For a round trip we add the two one-way fares together. You pay in cash when we reach Aydin, at the end of the ride; we do not ask for any prepayment to book.
Returning from Aydin to Izmir Airport
For the return we pick you up outside your hotel, at the entrance of the building where you had your meeting, or at the campus gate. As the route is motorway, the journey time is consistent on most days; when we agree the pickup time with you based on your flight, we also allow for the time you need for check-in.
If you are not sure when your meeting will end, give us an estimated time; if things run over, just write to us and we will talk through a new time together. If you are planning a round trip, you can give us the return time when you book or while you are in Aydin; our team checks availability and confirms it.
