From Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport to Fethiye it is about 330 km, a drive that takes 4–5 hours on most days; it is the longest of our routes. Leaving the airport, we take the Izmir–Aydin motorway to Aydin and continue via Cine to Mugla. After Mugla we pass Koycegiz and Dalaman, and beyond Gocek we drop down to the Gulf of Fethiye and arrive in Fethiye.
After Koycegiz the road runs on through pine forest. As we get closer to Gocek, the sea and its bays come into view, and from there to Fethiye the gulf is beside us in places.
On a drive this long, most of our passengers want to stop at least once. If we need to pause for the children, or you would like something to eat on the way, just write it in your booking; we tell you the arrival time with the breaks included.
Where do people stay in Fethiye?
In Fethiye town, the harbour, the bazaar and the marina are all together, and blue cruises and day boat trips mostly set off from here. Calis, north of the centre, is known for its long beach and its sunsets, with hotels lined up along the shore.
Taking the road to Oludeniz, we first pass through Ovacik and then Hisaronu. Hotels and villas are common in both. At the end of the road lies Oludeniz, known for its lagoon. The drive to these areas takes a little longer than to Fethiye town.
When you send us the name and address of your hotel or villa, we mark the location on the map. The entrance to a villa is sometimes down a narrow lane; a shared location link is enough, and we bring you right to the door. If you are staying in one of the more remote villages such as Kayakoy, Faralya or Kabak, send us your address; we will check the location and tell you the correct fare in advance.
How much is a transfer from Izmir Airport to Fethiye?
Our fare to Fethiye is €220 / ₺12.000 per vehicle, one way. We set the price by the vehicle, not by the number of passengers, so a family on a week’s holiday and a group of friends joining a boat holiday pay the same.
For a return trip we add the two one-way fares together. We take payment in cash when the journey is over, and there is nothing to pay in advance. The vehicle is reserved for you alone, and we take no other passengers on the way.
Return from Fethiye to Izmir Airport
On the way back we pick you up at the hotel entrance, at your villa or, if your boat holiday has just ended, at Fethiye marina. For villas in Hisaronu and Oludeniz, agreeing beforehand where the car can wait makes the last day easier.
As the drive takes around four hours, we set the pickup time together based on your flight time and leave enough margin to complete the journey comfortably. If you check out in the morning and your flight is in the evening, we talk about how you would like to spend the time in between and set the pickup time accordingly.
Izmir Airport or Dalaman Airport?
With two airports in the picture, this part often raises questions.
The nearest airport to Fethiye is Dalaman (DLM), and our road from Izmir passes near Dalaman on the way. This transfer, however, is for passengers whose flight lands at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB). Passengers who take this route usually fly into Izmir because the flight times or connections suit them better.
