From Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport to Pamucak it is about 65 km, a drive that usually takes 45–60 minutes. We take the Izmir–Aydin motorway south past Torbali, leave it near Selcuk and pass west of the town towards the sea, crossing the flat plain of the Kucuk Menderes. Where the river reaches the sea, the wide beach of Pamucak begins.
The drive is short, so we usually go straight through. To call at a supermarket or pharmacy on the way, just note it in your booking.
Where do people stay in Pamucak?
Pamucak has no real village centre. Most people stay in large hotels spread along the long, wide beach, each with its own access road. Stretches without hotels are quieter and more natural, and in the evening you may meet people watching the sunset.
The hotels are far apart, so we ask for your hotel’s name and address in advance; that way we find the access road and drive you right to the entrance.

Does Pamucak belong to Selcuk or Kusadasi?
The names can be a little confusing here. Lying on the coast between Selcuk and Kusadasi, Pamucak is often taken for part of Kusadasi, yet it belongs to Selcuk. We have a separate route for Pamucak, with its own fixed fare.
With Ephesus just outside Selcuk, Pamucak suits those who want the sea and the ruins close by; Ephesus, the House of the Virgin Mary and Sirince are easy day trips.
How much is a transfer from Izmir Airport to Pamucak?

The large hotels here mostly host families spending their holiday by the sea; as the fare is per vehicle, not per person, a big family pays the same. From Pamucak back to Izmir Airport
For the return, we pick you up at your hotel’s main entrance. Large hotels can leave a gap between room check-out and your flight, so we set the pickup time with you, keeping both in mind.
Want a few more hours on the beach or in Selcuk after check-out? We can collect you from another address instead. The road is short, but we still leave time for airport formalities. The way back simply reverses the outward drive: via Selcuk onto the motorway and straight to the terminal.
